Opel announced today that the new Antara is being launched in China this month. It has begun taking orders for the midsize SUV. The first Opel model to be launched simultaneously in China and worldwide, the new Antara is based on GM’s global midsize crossover platform. It maintains the advantages and configurations of the original Antara, with distinct crossover features and outstanding made-in-Germany quality. It features an improved exterior design, powertrain performance and interior amenities. Four configurations with nine colors will be available in China. They will range in price from RMB 266,000 to RMB 308,000.
